Low-Cost Vaccination Clinic:

As a special service to our clients and prospective clients, our clinic offers a low cost vaccine clinic every

Tuesday and Wednesdays between 4pm - 6pm.

Our vaccination clinic includes the common canine vaccines (DHLPP, Coronavirus, Bordetella, and Lyme) and feline vaccines (FVRCP and Feline Leukemia(FELV)).  Rabies vaccines for canines and felines are also included during these specific hours.

If you are not a regular client at our hospital, it is helpful if you know what vaccines you need; bring any records on the day of your vaccination appointment to help our staff determine which vaccinations are needed for your pet. If you are unsure of the vaccinations you need, or just have questions, you can contact us by phone, by email, or we will be happy to speak with you at the time of your visit

Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Service:

Below are programs our clinic participates in that provide low cost spay/neutering. Such programs have certain qualifications so please read the below information carefully. Feel free to contact us for any further questions.

Animal Birth Control Assistance, Inc:           -San Jose, CA 408-244-8351

Animal Birth Control (ABC) is a referral service for low-cost spay/neuter for cats and dogs from Palo Alto to San Jose. Before making an appointment for your pets spay or neuter please contact ABC to receive a discount voucher. Price of voucher depends on species and weight of animal. Voucher only covers the price of the surgery. Services, such as pre-anesthetic lab work, pain management and post-surgical preventatives and treatments, are not included, and will be an additional cost per request of the owner.

County of Santa Clara Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Programs: 

**Funding will be available starting July 1, 2011**

Domestic Cats

For domestic cats, male or female, in any area within Santa Clara County, the county will pay $30 dollars of surgery price. Owner or guardian will be responsible for remaining balance. Price is determined by sex of cat. 

 Large Breed Dogs (over 45 lbs)

For male dogs of any age AND female dogs under 6 months of age, the county will cover the cost of sedation, anesthesia, and surgery. Owner or guardian is responsible for pre-anesthetic lab work and post-surgical preventatives and treatments (e-collar and pain management).

For female dogs over 6 months of age, the county will cover $100 of surgery price. Owner or guardian is responsible for remaining balance.  Balance will be determined by the weight of the dog. 

Pit Bull Program

For male Pit Bulls of any age AND  female Pit Bulls under 6 months of age, the county will cover cost of sedation, anesthesia, and surgery. Owner or guardian is responsible for pre-anesthetic lab work and post-surgical preventatives and treatments (e-collar and pain management).

For female Pit Bulls over 6 months of age, the county will cover $100 of surgery price. Owner or guardian is responsible for remaining balance.  Balance will be determined by the weight of the dog.

Santa Clara County Stray/Feral Program:

For feral/stay cats, male or female, cost of spay or neuter will only be $10 or $25 depending on the city the guardian resides in. Cost covers surgery, FVRCP booster, Rabies booster, and an ear notch on the left ear to indicate that the cat has been spayed or neutered.

*Please be advised, there may be addition charges if female cat or dog is in heat or pregnant, or if male dog has a cryptorchid (hidden) testicle. Additional charges will be discussed on day of surgery.
