KITTEN PACKAGE
What does our kitten package include?
Our kitten vaccination package includes four office visits, once every three weeks, beginning at 6 weeks of age. During these visits, we will be administering a set of vaccinations that are specific to the age of your pet. The package also includes two deworming medications to eliminate most common internal parasites.
If your pet has started the series of vaccinations at another clinic/location and you wish to continue the series at our clinic, please provide us with proof of vaccinations in order for our staff to determine which set of vaccinations are needed for your new pet.

Which vaccines are included?
Rabies
A fatal viral infection of the central nervous system that can affect all mammals, including man. The virus is transmitted from animal to animal primarily through the bite of an infected animal. Routine vaccination is the key to controlling this dreaded disease. |
FVRCP
A combination vaccine to protect against Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calcivirus, and Panleukopenia. Rhinotracheitis is a common respiratory infection, which is often fatal in kittens. Sneezing, decreased appetite and fever followed by a thick discharge from the eyes and nose are often observed. Calcivirus is a respiratory infection that is not usually fatal, but often leaves cats more susceptible to serious infections. Panleukopenia is a widespread and highly contagious disease of cats that results in loss of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea. Some adult cats may recover, but it is often fatal in both kittens and adults. Leukemia (FELV) Infection with this virus is a major cause of serious disease and death in cats. It decreases the ability of the immune system to respond to infection and may cause leukemia. It is passed from cat to cat by direct contact. Outside cats and cats in multi-cat homes are at high risk. It is not contagious to people. |
